Well a quick look at the dates and you can see that I pretty well forgot all about this blog. I decided I might have a go again. Just in case there is someone out there interested in my nonsensical rantings!

Life has moved on quite a lot since November last year. But much also remains the same, still in China, still getting through each day in a state on continual agitation bordering on apoplectic rage, but still surviving.

The big chance internet wise is the birth of my network of Money Making sites, Manyhandprints, as most of my readers (if any) will come from there I won't add much, other to say - if you stumbled across this site from another source - check out the link on the left side bar!

Well - new (possibly interesting) posts are coming including something I have been working on, a few short (very) stories (closest word for them) - so keep tuned! (um)

Buses.

So today's rant is all about buses. F****ing things. Well not buses in general, just those in China. So take today's trek.

Wake up. Shower and leave home. I spy the bus stop in the distance, and damn, there are about 100 people waiting. The popularity of the bus service has been growing for some time, so last month the bus company made the obvious decision of halving the number of buses. Good for them.

We see the bus on the horizon, people start to get excited, jostling to the front, trying to guess exactly where the bus will stop.

The bus arrives. It is full. Now most of you have no idea what full means. Full means every available space taken, people crowded in each stairwell, seriously fitting a sardine in would be a challenge.

But wait! There's a women standing near the middle of the bus, stretched out, successfully stopping anyone from passing her to stand at the back..um..

Somehow I get on the bus (I have sharp elbows) and push the women down, not literally, but almost, and everyone can now board the bus.

The bus moves off.
I found a great new money making idea. Well maybe it's not that new, but I've never seen it before! The site doesn't look great but I've searched around quite a lot and never seen a bad review of it. It does seem it pays!

The idea is rather simple. It all works via. Craigslist. Craigslist is a online classified service. WFHHQ pays you around 15c for copying and pasting an advert onto the Craigslist.

Why? Each account can only post a few adverts a day on a classified service or they will be banned, they need you to use your account for posting.

Downside? Firstly you can only post a maximum of 5 ads a day (75c) now that's not a lot but it is only a few moments work so not bad.
Secondly some of your adverts get 'ghosted' that is they don't show up on Craigslist search engine...and then you don't get paid! Sometimes I think that happens when you post too quickly ... it's annoying.

Worth it for 15c

Whoops! I nutted some poor Grandma in the supermarket today! Why, oh why can't Chinese people learn to line up?
Clutching my single cucumber I watched the mass of humanity (I use that word in quite a broad sense) swarm around the weighing area. As is usually the case there was a single member of staff weighing the fruit and veg, and he wasn't too hot about it.
Now I have lived in China far too long to still have any vestiges of politeness in me, so I took a deep breath and charged in.
Don't judge me too harshly here, if you wait politely, you'll still be waiting as judgement day is called.
I did feel embarrassed when the old lady fell to the floor though.

Maybe next time I'll just wait.

I got my cucumber though..I guess that's the important thing!
